Step up your stocking by selecting Additional Enhancements. All year long I collect special Christmas themed trims to add to the stocking patterns. These can really bring these adorably creative patterns to life. Selecting Additional Enhancements, will enable me to pull from my selection of trims, ribbons, buttons, special beads, and sequins to create a one of a kind heirloom for you. This step along with adding a cuff is what really sets Louisiana Heirloom Stockings apart from other stocking creators.
Nancibelle did a beautiful job on our Camo Santa. We love and cherish it every Christmas.
I couldn’t be happier with the beautifully handcrafted Christmas stockings I ordered! Each one is truly a work of art—so detailed, thoughtfully made, and completely unique. You can tell just how much care and craftsmanship went into every stitch. My family was absolutely delighted to see their names on stockings that felt personal and special. They’ve quickly become one of our favorite holiday traditions. These aren’t just decorations—they’re heirlooms we’ll cherish for years to come!

Sole Proprietor
I am Nancibelle Vallee Hardy, a Louisiana native with a passion for hand-sewing for over 50 years.
My stockings, tree skirts, and table runners start from American made kits. Each piece is hand-cut and hand-stitched from high quality wool and wool blend felt. Beads are primarily glass with some special resin and metal embellishments. Stockings can be embellished with additional beading and trim. All stockings are lined with a coordinating fabric.
Adding a Louisiana Heirloom Stitches Signature Cuff makes your stocking taller and more dramatic. Choose additional embellishments to further enhance your heirloom stocking.
Names can be added in script or block letters.
The primary photos in this catalog are of the kit stock photos of the pattern. Photos of my work are also provided where available.
If selecting to have me stitch your project for you, each one is custom made for you. Some changes can be made upon request. One example can be found on the Camo Santa listing. I was asked to add a CH-47 Chinook helicopter to the design. I worked a toy sized Chinook into the design for a retired military member. Another good example can be found on the kit On the Farm. One request was to make this pattern for a crawfish farmer. So, Derrick has a huge crawfish being held by Santa. Another stocking of the same patternis for Jonathan. Jonathan's tractor is a John Deer so it is green and yellow (color change) and he used his tractor to build a golf course. His santa has a set of clubs on the back of his tractor.
Many kits sell out fast. The closer to Christmas the harder it is to find the most desirable patterns. I require a minimum of 3 weeks to complete each stocking. Expected time of completion will be given when placing your order.
